FAQS

Do I need to purchase my admission ticket online?

No, but purchasing your ticket online is strongly encouraged. If you need help with this, please call the Museum at 518-584-0400.

What is timed ticketing?

Our timed ticketing will give each visitor a time slot for visiting the Museum and a specific time for viewing the Hall of Fame Education Experience movie. Because there will only be a limited amount of tickets available for the time slots, timed ticketing will help maintain physical distancing and reduced gallery capacities.

Can I return or exchange timed tickets if my plans change?

Timed tickets can be rescheduled for another available date and time slot. To reschedule or request a refund, please call 518-584-0400.

Do I have to wear a face mask/covering?

Yes, New York State requires all visitors and staff to wear a protective face mask or covering for all persons age 2 and older (unless there is a medical reason stating otherwise). Free single-use masks will be available for persons who need one. For individuals unable to wear a mask because of a medical condition, the Museum will provide a plastic face shield as a reasonable accommodation allowing such individuals to enter the Museum.

Are all areas of the Museum open?

All Museum areas are open except for Horseplay! Gallery and the Horse Racing Simulator.

Is the Museum Gift Shop open?

Yes, the Museum Gift Shop is open. New York State requires that a face mask/covering be worn while in the store and we are limiting its capacity to 8 visitors at time.

Can I book a tour of the Museum or of the Oklahoma Training Track?

Unfortunately, no. All tours are suspended until further notice.

Can I bring something to drink into the Museum?
