Do I need to purchase my admission ticket online?

No, but purchasing your ticket online is strongly encouraged. If you need help with this, please call the Museum at (518) 584-0400.

What is timed ticketing?

Our timed ticketing will give each visitor a time slot for visiting the Museum and a specific time for viewing the Hall of Fame Education Experience movie. Because there will only be a limited amount of tickets available for the time slots, timed ticketing will help maintain physical distancing and reduced gallery capacities.

Can I return or exchange timed tickets if my plans change?

Timed tickets can be rescheduled for another available date and time slot. To reschedule or request a refund, please call 518-584-0400.

Do I have to wear a face mask/covering?

Masks are required for all staff and visitors over the age of 2 unless there is a legitimate medical exemption. Free single-use masks will be available at the Museum entrance for visitors who do not have one. Face masks/coverings must completely cover a person’s mouth and nose for proper use.

Are all areas of the Museum open?

All Museum areas are open except for Horseplay! Gallery and the Horse Racing Simulator.

Is the Museum Gift Shop open?

Yes, the Museum Gift Shop is open. New York State requires that a face mask/covering be worn while in the store and we are limiting its capacity to 8 visitors at time.

Can I bring something to drink into the Museum?

Visitors may bring into the Museum a water bottle. No other beverages or food are allowed into the Museum.

Is there somewhere to check my coat or other belongings?

Not at this time. Please be prepared to carry your coat and belongings with you. Please also note that large backpacks and handbags are not permitted within the Museum.
