Get an up-close look at thoroughbred racing with the Health, History, and Horses Program!

Designed for school groups of all ages, this unique educational tour begins at the historic Oklahoma Training Track, where you’ll witness thoroughbred racehorses during their morning workouts. Watch as horses and their skilled riders train for the races at Saratoga and learn what it takes to prepare these equine athletes for competition. Expert docents will guide your group through the training facility, sharing the rich history of racing in Saratoga and offering insights into the daily routines and conditioning of racehorses. Afterward, take a short walk back to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame for a screening of our signature film, What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame. Once the film concludes, enjoy free time to explore the Museum’s exhibits at your own pace.

This tour is available exclusively to educational organizations. Content can be tailored to suit any age group or class level. Both the Oklahoma Training Track and the Museum are accessible for school buses.
