Recommended for ages 3-6, “Horse Explorers” is a hands-on series intended to creatively educate children about horses by developing age-appropriate skills in disciplines including art, literacy, science and math. The program will be staffed by the Museum’s professional educators.

 

“Horse Explorers” will take place Thursday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Museum’s Horseplay Gallery. Children are free to attend with a paid accompanying adult.

Join us at this Kentucky themed fundraiser featuring delicious samplings of local brews and spirits, as well as signature Kentucky inspired dishes from local restaurants.

While exploring the Museum and its local connection, guests will enjoy entertainment in the prestigious Hall of Fame before a live airing of the 2018 Kentucky Derby.

Racing experts Tom Amello and Michael Veitch analyze the field for the upcoming Kentucky Derby and break down the Triple Crown contenders. There will also be Kentucky Derby trivia with prizes from EMBRACE THE RACE. Time: 12 p.m. Location: Hall of Fame Gallery. Cost: Free to attend.
