Join the Museum for this special tour of Edition Farm in Hyde Park, N.Y. Round-trip transportation and lunch will be provided along with a guided tour of one of New York’s top breeding farms. Space is limited and reservations are required. Time: Bus will leave the Museum at 9 a.m. Cost: $60 for members and $70 for non-members. Participants will receive a free pass to visit the Museum at their convenience. Reservations are required for this event and space is limited.

Xpressbet Saturday Morning Social at the Museum: Join Museum staff members and special guest analysts for a casual discussion of the day’s racing action at Saratoga and other tracks throughout the country, sponsored by Xpressbet. Complimentary light refreshments will be served and Saratoga past performances will be provided. Cost: Free admission from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Children’s Program: “Make a Horseshoe Photo Frame:” Learn about the different types of shoes horses can wear then decorate your own horseshoe photo frame. Recommended for children ages 3 through 8. Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost: Free with paid admission.

Travers Eve Member Wine and Cheese Social featuring Greg Montgomery: Celebrate the racing season at the Museum on Travers Stakes eve. Enjoy refreshments in the Museum’s Cornelius Vanderbilt Courtyard with fellow Museum members and racing enthusiasts. Renowned artist Greg Montgomery will be on hand to sign copies of his 2018 Travers Stakes poster. Time: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cost: Free for members, $10 for non-members. Posters available for purchase.

Children’s Program: “I Won the Race: the Travers Stakes:” Prepare for Saratoga’s oldest race by viewing Travers Stakes trophies at the Museum then decorate a smaller model of your own. Recommended for children ages 3 through 8. Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost: Free with paid admission.

Travers Stakes Preview Panel: Brien Bouyea and Michael Veitch analyze the field for the 149th running of the Travers Stakes. Time: 11 a.m. Cost: Included with Museum admission.

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will present special behind-the-scenes tours of Godolphin’s famous Greentree Stable on Saturday, Aug. 18 and Tuesday, Aug. 21. The tours are from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tours cost $15 for Museum members and $20 for non-members. Each attendee will also receive a complimentary admission pass to the Museum. The tours will be given by Godolphin’s Emma Browne and the Museum’s Cate Johnson.

Legendary jockey Julie Krone, the first woman inducted into the National Museum of Racing’s Hall of Fame, will sign autographs at the Museum on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Autographs are $15 each with proceeds benefitting the Museum. Krone will be signing limited-edition prints of her groundbreaking victory aboard Colonial Affair from the 1993 Belmont Stakes. The prints will be sourced from original artwork by renowned artist Celeste Susany. The print is included with the autograph price.
