Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation Farm Tour: Join the Museum for a tour at Bloomfield Farm with Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, an organization for rescued thoroughbred racehorses that raises awareness of the importance of thoroughbred aftercare, as part of our ongoing farm tour series.

Join the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame to celebrate the Smithsonian’s FREE Museum Day event! Begin your day at the museum at 10:30 with a reading of Dr. Seuss’s new book “Dr. Seuss’s Horse Museum.” After the reading, children will explore the Museum with a special scavenger hunt based on "Horse Museum and design their own horse art and frame to take home. Time: 10 a.m. to noon.
