Guests in the Gallery: Robbie and Dylan Davis

Photo Credit: NYRARobbie Davis, who won 3,382 races and earned more than $115 million in purses during his career as a jockey, will be featured in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s Guests in the Gallery program on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m. along with his son, Dylan, who has followed in his father’s footsteps as a jockey.


The program, hosted by Jeff Carle, is free with a paid Museum admission. Museum members are always free.


Robbie Davis, who is now a trainer, rode from 1981 through 2001 and had a handful of mounts in 2013. He won 31 Grade 1 races in his career, including the Jockey Club Gold Cup, Hopeful, Manhattan Handicap, Arlington Million, Flower, Bowl, Vosburgh, Futurity, Ruffian, Acorn and Secretariat, among others.


Dylan Davis began his career in 2012 and has won 172 races to date with purse earnings of more than $4 million. Dylan is one of three Davis children, along with his sisters Jacqueline and Katie, who are currently riding.
