Museum launches "Horse Explorers" programs for children

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will present an ongoing children’s educational program series called “Horse Explorers” beginning Nov. 30.

Recommended for ages 3-6, “Horse Explorers” is a hands-on series intended to creatively educate children about horses by developing age-appropriate skills in disciplines including art, literacy, science and math. The program will be staffed by the Museum’s professional educators.

“Horse Explorers” will take place each Thursday morning beginning Nov. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Museum’s Horseplay Gallery. The programs will run through December. Children are free to attend with a paid accompanying adult.
