Of his many great mounts, Cordero considered Seattle Slew the best. Cordero was a multiple winner of classic races but felt his 1976 Belmont victory aboard Bold Forbes was his greatest ride. However, many fans consider his 1987 Santa Anita Handicap aboard Broad Brush to be equally impressive.
