Tim Tam's other victories at 3 included the Flamingo, the Florida Derby, and the Derby Trial.

Following his injury, Tim Tam was saved for stud duty. He sired fourteen stakes winners including Tosmah. Tim Tam also sired Royal Entrance, the dam of Davona Dale.

Tim Tam was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1985.
