NMR Collection

At 3 Susan's Girl won the Kentucky Oaks, Acorn Stakes, and set a record against older rivals in the Beldame. She was named Champion 3-year-old filly of 1972.

At 4 Susan's Girl won the Spinster Stakes, carried 129 pounds to win the Santa Barbara, and carried 127 pounds to victory in the Santa Margarita and Delaware Handicaps. She was then named Champion Older Filly or Mare. Susan's Girl saw her fourth racing season cut short by a leg fracture. She returned the following year and won the Apple Blossom, Long Beach, and Delaware Handicaps. She also took the Matchmaker, Beldame, and Spinster Stakes and was again named Champion Older Filly or Mare.

Susan's Girl was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1976.
