La Prevoyante's unbeaten campaign at 2 led to her Eclipse Award as Champion Juvenile Filly and to Horse of the Year honors in Canada. While she excelled as a sprinter, La Prevoyante also won major races at longer distances.

Among her victories at 2, La Prevoyante won the Schuylerville, Spinaway, Princess Elizabeth, Matron, Frizette, Selima, and the Gardenia Stakes. Following her 2-year-old season, she won 13 of her remaining 27 starts. At 3 La Prevoyante won the Quebec Derby, La Troienne, and the Ville-Marie Stakes. In her final race at 4, the Miss Florida Handicap, she suffered a ruptured lung and died soon thereafter.

La Prevoyante was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
