The Discovery Paddock

The Discovery Paddocks is a children’s exhibit that introduces kids to information about horses and jockeys through hands-on activities.  Examples of activities include riding an equipony (a wooden exercise horse used to practice riding); dressing in jockey gear; learning a horse’s training routine; hammering a shoe on a mock-horse’s hoof; identifying jobs around the race track, and designing racing skills.
